Strike Magazine St. Louis is a fashion and culture publication that explores current events and issues among the local St. Louis and broader national community of our generation.

As art director of Issues 04 & 05 I oversaw every step in the process from brainstorming each issues theme to working with print and production. Through directing photoshoots, I’ve interacted firsthand with the people featured in our articles. Creating editorial layouts that combine articles/interviews with photography taught me to utilize visual principles to showcase a voice, communicate a message, or celebrate artists.

I’m proud of the inclusive and inquisitive environment the Strike team and I’ve worked so hard to foster. Each edition inspires our team and our readers to constantly push the bounds of what we know, encourage reflection and engagement, and be unafraid to express our identities through creativity.
