CRITICAL ECOLOGY

FALL 2022

SPIRAL BOUND BOOK

ADVISOR: AMY AUMAN

Critical Ecology (Social Systems + Environment) is a book based off of the Ologies podcast featuring Dr. Suzanne Pierre.

The episode is a conversation about how critical ecology is a problem solving framework for approaching various social and environmental issues. What sets apart "critical" ecology from "ecology" alone is the emphasis on shifting perspectives and developing solutions from all different angles. This design system explores these changing outlooks through rotation and the formal switch in our perceived focuses.
